A lot of people may think that a winery is not a place for kids…but I disagree – this mum needs her wine! And usually hubby is driving, so there is at least one responsible adult to look after both baby and mum!
Plus, wineries often have great tours, and hands on activities, for kids. They can be outside, learn about growing fruit and what you can turn the fruit in to. The cafes usually have amazing food, and delightful “home made” treats as well. Lerida Estate is one of these fabulous wineries. The cafe is amazing, and the wine tours are interesting and a lot of fun – you can really learn a lot. Plus there is room for prams, they have at least one high chair available, and there was a change table in the toilet. Add some wine and yummy food, and you’ve got a perfect day out.
