The zoo cafe sells a basic range of coffee, pastries, cold drinks, chips and ice creams so it is better suited to snacks than lunch.
Seating is available inside and outside, with plenty of room for prams and high chairs. Access to the cafe is only available to visitors who have paid to enter the zoo. So if you’re meeting up with other parents with prams, it might be easier to get a takeaway coffee and find some benches or seats somewhere within the zoo itself (particularly if your group includes toddlers who might last longer with interesting exhibits to look at).
Feel free to bring food from home to eat within the zoo.
There is a change table in the toilet for people with a disability located in the aquarium.
If you are likely to visit the zoo more than once in a year it is worth considering an annual membership.
