The IKEA cafe is as baby-friendly as you would expect from a company that sells a lot of stuff to young families.
There is plenty of room for prams and lots of IKEA high chairs on offer. The menu covers salads, wraps and hot food as well as desserts and coffees. You can buy Bellamy’s puréed baby food if you happen to have forgotten your supplies. There is a small play area for little kids inside the cafe, and a separate play area near the entrance, called Smaland, for kids over 3.
One parents room is next to the cafe and another is just after the registers at the Ikea exit.
The only challenge is resisiting the temptation to wander into the IKEA labyrinth, which is impossible to emerge from without a purchase.
