U&Co Cafe is a great little, casual, suburban spot to visit with the kids. While it doesn’t have a dedicated play area for toddlers, it does have a book corner and colouring pencils available. The staff are lovely and the kids meals are very reasonably priced and generously sized.
The menu includes a good range of food for the grown ups too! The fish and chips are a favourite in our family. The kids milkshakes are great and the staff are more than happy to pop them in a takeaway cup with a lid and straw if you want to reduce the risk of spills. The only real downside is the babycinos are a little on the pricey side, costing $1.50 for a normal babycino and $2.50 for one with sprinkles, marshmallows, and stickers.
My tip: get your coffees to takeaway so that, when you’re finished your food and the littlies are restless, you can pop over to the playground at the corner of the square and enjoy your coffee in relative peace!
